Day 4 - Your favorite character from Lady Windermere’s Fan

Ooo it would have to be Lord Darlington, wouldn’t it? But as he’s everyone’s favorite (since he basically IS Oscar—you can’t like Oscar without liking Darlington) I’ll have to say Mrs. Erlynne. Oscar had a knack for creating strong female characters and she just takes the cake. Stoic. Self-sacrificing but definitely not self-righteous. Even though she suffered so much, you know she would not want your pity (much like Oscar). You just admire her so much by the end of the story.
